CHALLENGE

To create a tangible extension of my inner world—a space where poetry and photography intersect to capture thought, memory, and emotion. The goal was to craft a print that feels immersive, personal, and evocative, inviting readers to connect with both text and imagery.

IDEA

The concept was to create a book that feels like an art gallery in print—each page a curated space where poems and photographs converse, inviting readers to explore and experience each moment. The work blurs the line between literature and visual art, making each poem an immersive, living experience.

EXECUTION

Curated and wrote a collection of original poems exploring personal themes and reflections.

Shot complementary photography to visually amplify each poem’s mood and meaning.

Designed a tactile, small-format book that emphasises both visual flow and textual rhythm.

Experimented with typography, layout, and sequencing to create a cohesive, gallery-like journey.

IMPACT

A self-published exploration of poetry and photography that extends my creative practice.

This project demonstrates the intersection of written and visual storytelling, highlighting versatility across mediums.

Resonated with peers and creative communities as an experimental approach to personal narrative and self-expression.

CULTURAL RESONANCE

“Pocket-size gallery in print — where poetry and image converse.”

This book became a small but meaningful conversation piece among peers and creative circles — not just a collection of poems and images, but a personal object people could hold, pass around, and reflect on. It blurred the line between literature and visual art, showing how something intimate and handmade can still create collective dialogue around memory, identity, and self-expression.
